Nickie and Lydia washing each other is adorable. Nickie's gotten so big!

I keep reading 'West Dalhousie' as 'West Dollhouse'.

Those are huge sausages in your breakfast.

Even though I LOVE reptiles, I've never been a big fan of bearded dragons. All the ones I've worked with have been very flighty, easily panicked, and not very sociable. This may be because they were kept in cages most of the time and didn't have much opportunity to interact either with humans or other lizards. Perhaps I also feel they're too small and bulky! (Once you've had a 6' lizard, many other lizards feel too small. :p)

If I were to get another lizard, and it wasn't an iguana, it would probably be either a water monitor or a tegu. I especially love monitors and their sleek build. I would also consider a snake or spider. However, even though I sometimes wish I had a pet and like seeing the pets at friends' houses, I also enjoy not having one. I don't have to find someone to take care of it when I travel, pay for the food, worry about his/her health problems, clean up surprise feces, maintain all the special lighting, constantly vacuum up shed scales, etc. Though I can see the great joys and benefits in a pet, I think the freedom of not having one wins out for me.

Another of your packages arrived this week. I haven't opened it (feels like a book and looks like it was shipped from the UK), but will have to in order to write the customs. Do you want all the original packaging sent to you as well?
